Welcome to our Stellar Nursery!

We simulated a bunch of stars forming, and found that each one is unique, and it would be great if we could watch each one form.

Ok, they're not actually stars that we form, we don't include nuclear fusion. These are prestellar cores. What we study here is the formation of dense cores from chaotic molecular clouds.

Here you'll find several movies, and several galleries that contain many plots from individual cores. The first gallery contains one object and figure captions. Captions are omitted from the other galleries.

The simulations are all described in detail in our papers. One paper is finished, and the others are forthcoming. As the other papers in the series are completed, results will be added to the galleries. Stay tuned!
